Professor Dan Moshavi conducted a workshop in Lugano this weekend on organizational power and politics. The goal of the workshop was to help students better navigate their organizations by understanding political environments and managing power relationships more effectively.
Dr. Moshavi emphasized that position power is only one source of power in an organization and there are many tactics that can be used to influence others such as reciprocity, social proof, liking, and scarcity.
