In his paper, entitled “Factors Influencing the Horizontal Collaboration Among Humanitarian Organizations: An Empirical Analysis,” he proposes and tests the elements influencing the horizontal collaboration among international humanitarian NGOs, providing a systematic view of the drivers and impediments to collaboration. Mohammad completed his PhD at the Università della Svizzera italiana under the direction of Prof. Paulo Gonçalves. He is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Hanken School of Economics in Finland, investigating the relationships between international humanitarian actors and local NGOs. His project is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
