Biography
Bublu Thakur-Weigold is a specialist in innovation diffusion and technology transfer. At ETH’s chair for Logistics Management, she is Associate Director of Programs, which include the executive MBA in Supply Chain Management, and its new Humanitarian Logistics Lab. She is also a partner at e3 associates International, a boutique consulting firm which helps companies to succeed using process innovation.
At Hewlett-Packard in Germany, she worked as an internal supply chain consultant, instructor, and program manager. This followed the 10 years of experience she gained in IT and process consulting, working with multinational clients from heavy manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, and the telecommunications industry.
Bublu speaks regularly at international conferences, and has published in Production Planning and Control, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Industrial Engineer, Cutter IT Journal, Logistics Innovation, and io new management. She is the author of the Springer book chapter on the "Myths and Reality of Supply Chain Management: Implications for Industry-University Relationships."
Bublu holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from MIT, and a Master of Science in International Logistics from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is completing her doctoral research on Global Value Chains at the University of Economics in Prague, CZ.
