Biography
Nikolaus Beck is Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the Università della Svizzera italiana and MASHLM Co-Director. He studied in Erlangen and Aberdeen and has an MA in Sociology from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He received his PhD in Business administration at the University of Mannheim and his habilitation from the University of Erfurt. Professor Beck's articles have been published in Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Organization Studies, and other outlets. His research interests include Organizational Learning and Change, New Institutional Theory and Population Ecology. Before joining USI, he taught at the Academy of Fashion and Design, Hamburg.
