Stochastic Optimization of Humanitarian Aid Supply and Distribution for the WFP in Ethiopia by Paulo Goncalves, Adriana Leiras, Bervery Chawaguta and Hugo Yoshizaki has been named as one of four finalists in the 2013 Best Paper Competition by the College of Humanitarian Operations & Crisis Management (HOCM).
This paper builds on Bervery Chawaguta MASHLM thesis in 2010 titled Humanitarian Logistics Services: Transportation Optimization Model For WFP Ethiopia Primary and Secondary Transport System.
The finalist papers will be presented at the POMS Conference in Denver, Colo. on May 6th, 2013
