On August 26th, 2018, we will start our 10th edition of the MASHLM, a part-time executive master program designed for humanitarian professionals. But not only.
More than a program, MASHLM is a group of professionals striving to develop and implement high-quality applied research impacting the humanitarian sector. One of our goals is to become the premier educational program that supports the global humanitarian community by providing humanitarian organizations and professionals with the tools and methods that allow them to improve the quality of their operations and performance of their teams.
Throughout the years, participants in the MASHLM program are from more than 60 different countries and work in multiple fields in the humanitarian sector. We foster valuable and long-standing relationships with our alumni, our faculty, our partners, and our community.
Understanding the ever-changing global dynamics in society, we recently developed new educational possibilities through certificates and diplomas that allow more flexibility in joining the MASHLM family. Our flagship program is still our well-cosolidated master’s program. Keeping up with global educational trends and adapting them to the needs of humanitarian professionals, we are planning in the near future to offer online options to increase participants’ access to high-quality education in a dynamic and continuously changing world.
To research, learn, adapt, optimize and impact is our mission, and we align our operations to this mission. Supported by an outstanding faculty from MIT, GeorgiaTech, USI, and field professionals working at OCHA, IRC and other renowned organizations and universities, we focus on theory and practice for an immediate impact in participants’ humanitarian operations.
